We are on a day out today at the 90th anniversary weekend of the Lincoln Model Engineers. Superb road loco turn out alongside the rail stuff and well worth a visit today or tomorrow!

Looking forward to the big show in October….

Fast approaching is the annual Midlands Model Engineering Exhibition at the Warwickshire Event Centre - WEC sponsored by Engineering in Miniature, the only major model engineering exhibition left in the Midlands and South. We will be there again s usual, but if you want to get orders in for collection at the show (and save postage!) you need to get your order in sooner rather than later! There are only TWO more cutting batches GUARANTEED to make the show, we anticipate there will be a third but no promises.

Deadline for orders for the next batch is Wednesday 23rd August, that's just under a week!

Super venue in Sussex, well worth a visit…

Hello to all our lovely friends and supporters! Summer holidays are now upon us and what a better way to spend a weekend than visiting Beech Hurst for a ride on the train!

Today we have a visiting loco from another club and a collection of LNER style locos running our normal 2-5pm passenger service, weather dependant.

Tomorrow we have a special ‘Southern Locomotive’ day with a number of visitors bringing a range of locos to the club. There will be 10-12 different Southern Region locos on display and some running for the public to see. We will confirm if there will be rides available on Sunday in the morning.
