To all my friends, family and associates… I’d just like to announce my highly anticipated return to what was my first and original passion… and that is Dj’ing 🎶 Thanks to a massive influence from my big cousin Geoff Nelson, I bought my 1st ever set of decks, on a shoe string budget when I was only 11 years old 😳 1 Soundlab turntable deck was direct drive… the other was a belt drive 😂🙈 So for those that know… learning and perfecting the art of beat mixing on a set-up like that was very challenging, however… it gave me the ability to be able to mix and adapt to ANY kind of set-up I’m presented with now 🎶 I first started mixing House, Hardcore, Jungle & Drum and Bass… but I unfortunately sold my decks at the tender age of only 14 when House & Garage turned up on the scene, but that was the time when I actually picked up the mic and Mc Timer was born 🎤 Thanks to the influence growing up from the legend that is MC Skibadee, Stevie Hyper D & MC Shabba D… I ended up MC’ing on multiple radio stations throughout the years… and performed on many stages within many famous venues across the capital 🤩 Alongside some of the legends in the scene… Dan Danger Kaye, DJ Katty and Dj Double O to name a few 🖤 However… as grateful as I am for all of the MC memories and achievements over the past 25 years… I have always wanted to return back to what triggered my musical career in the first place 🤔 So here we are!!! But don’t worry… I’m not looking to quit my job and concentrate solely on trying to be a successful Dj 😂🙈 I’m just slowly looking to re-enter the music scene, but as a Dj now and not an MC 🙏 Even though you still might catch me hosting or spitting a few bars here and there… I predominantly want to reignite my passion for mixing and may even start offering my Dj’ing services for various events, weddings and parties etc ❤️ So please stay tuned to see where this new Dj’ing venture brings me by liking and following my new dedicated social media pages and accounts!!!
