I am a Member of Wymondham Art Society and have a lovely exhibition, beautifully displayed in the Harrods of Hingham Gallery until 31st July, open 10 til 4 daily.

It is a wonderful opportunity to see many of my paintings together, especially those of the Suffolk Punch, our very rare heavy horse breed. Also prints and greetings cards.

Admire not just my art but also from many other local artisans too.

Do pop along if you can.

Top New York Jazz singer comes to Norfolk

This August Norfolk will be playing host to the world's most popular Gypsy Jazz singer when she brings a touch of 1930's Parisian style to Salle Park, Reepham.

Tatiana Eva Marie was born in Switzerland and from an early age she developed a love of swing and gypsy jazz. Tatiana now lives in New York where she leads the Avalon Jazz Band. She has enchanted audiences around the world with the gentle clarity of her voice and her natural, joie de vie style which have earned her an international following with over 70million YouTube views.

The event at Salle park is organised by local furniture maker Michael Westgate in aid of the Norfolk Churches Trust and he has collaborated with international jazz harpist Ben Creighton Griffiths to bring Tatiana to the U.K. for just two concerts.

Cardiff based Ben has performed regularly in North Norfolk with his Transatlantic Hot Club to enthusiastic audiences and will be leading a string trio to accompany her. This will be the first time Tatiana has performed in the U.K. for 6 years, so don't
miss this rare opportunity! Booking essential.

A new, touring exhibition by local photographer Khalil Mitchell is opening next week, showcasing a series of stunning photographs of the vibrant and diverse community based at The Ihsan Mosque, in Chapelfield, Norwich, home to one of the longest-standing British Muslim communities in the UK.

The exhibition opens to the public at The Museum of Norwich on Tuesday 11 June 2024, and will then travel around local libraries, popping up in Earlham Library on 2 July, Wymondham Library on 9 September and North Walsham Library on 25 September.

This small, touring exhibition has been developed in a partnership between Khalil Mitchell, Norfolk Library & Information Service (NLIS) and Norfolk Museums Service (NMS) and has been generously funded by the Norwich Freemen’s Charity.

A long shot here but I lost my light grey cashmere neck scarf at Out There on Saturday early evening, probably between the Drill House and St George’s Park when Bowjangles were playing. Recognisable as it has small moth holes and blue darning patches. If anyone found it I would love to get it back. Thank you
