🎉A wee message fae Malba🎉

Tomorrow (Wednesday) episode 8 is released and we can't wait to share this one with you. 🥰

✨This week we're educating Malba on American politics, Royal scandals and being shamed online. What does any of that have to do with menopause?? Tune in and find out.

✨We also delve into the annals of history to find out what menopause treatments were available to women of the day. Suffice to say, HRT is pretty sweet... 😵‍💫

✨As always we round off the episode with a new song 'Goodbye (to the old me)' which is giving serious sunny vibes, perfect for the lighter days creeping into Spring.

🎉MILESTONE MOMENT🎉

We honestly didn't think we would be dropping another milestone moment so soon but we are so chuffed that we have surpassed the 100 downloads mark for our wee podcast and only 5 episodes in.

We have more episodes coming and can't believe in a short few weeks we will have completed series 1. How nuts is that!? To kick things off we wanted to focus on mindset and what obstacles come up when we are sitting down to create and write songs. In among trying to figure that out, we have uncovered a variety of random tangents that relate to our stage in life and how hilarious it all is.

What's more, it's so beautiful to see more and more people coming forward and sharing their creative talents, talking about menopause and motherhood and all the weird and wonderful things they bring, along with hard and tricky things too.

We're loving this journey so far and hope we can keep going and sharing our chat and tunes with more people throughout the world. From Peru to the Las Vegas, thanks for tuning in and giving us a shot. We hope the Glaswegian humour is translating across the globe.

The Maga era....nope, not that one.

Tonight I sent out an email to my subscribers about stepping into your Maga era and I promise it's got nothing to do with a man who likes his fake tan too much or politics of any kind.

As I discovered tonight, the Maga era is the Autumnal season of a woman's life, when she's going through the menopause. Also known as the extended mother phase of the triple Goddess. I have no idea what that means but it sounds cool.

Anyway I felt so weird about using the term Maga cause, ya know, tangerine man and all. Aaaand some random guy on Threads pure shamed me for it, saying I was being clickbait-y of the worst kind cause it is affiliated with racism etc. Ooft that was uncomfortable. So I changed the acronym... To me the term refers to Make Amazing Great Art and I'm sticking with that.

Anyway this is rather long winded way of saying, Maga women of the world, our podcast is a building a community of women sharing their creativity and blossoming during this period of our lives, come and join us. Promise there is zero politics chat.

Just saw on the news a mother campaigning for child friendly phones. As in phones for under 16s that cannot access social media and are tethered to their parents phone that flag certain keywords when they are typed into a search engine.

This very subject came up in episode 3 or 4 (I should really know!) and I (Caragh) was saying there should be a minimum age to access these platforms.

Did you hear our discussion? What are your thoughts on under 16s having:

a) access to a smartphone
b) access to social media platforms

**There's no judgement by the way, genuinely interested in what the consensus is**
