It is reported that Anas ibn Malik رضي الله عنه stated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Let one of you ask his Lord for his needs in their entirety, even it be for the strap of his sandal when it splits.”
Narrated by Imam al-Tirmidhī (3973) and graded rigorously authenticated by Imam al-Suyutī
عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِيَسْأَلْ أَحَدُكُمْ رَبَّهُ حَاجَتَهُ كُلَّهَا حَتَّى يَسْأَلَ شِسْعَ نَعْلِهِ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ
