At the beginning of January, JGP Properties submitted an amended Planning Application for their proposal to build 150 houses on the last remaining Green Wedge fields, North of Chaddesden Wood.
They have offered NO FUNDAMENTAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENTS to protect and preserve our woodland and wildlife. In fact the developers have admitted......
“...our ecological appraisal has identified that there is potential for an adverse impact on Chaddesden Wood.”
You can review the revised documentation on the ePlanning portal, by going to our web page: https://focwood.wixsite.com/focwood/news, where you will find links to the portal, our response to the amended planning application and guidance notes for the Reasons to Oppose this application.
We have received the following guidance notes from Development Control:
Any original objections or comments you may have made on the original application will still stand, so you do not need to submit your objection again, if you have nothing further to add.
However, you can make a new objection to the amended proposal (bearing in mind that your original objections will still be considered). This will not be added to the number of objections received, however it will be noted and having new objections is always good. It isn't all about the number of objections, but the content of them as well. Additionally, anybody who did not object previously can now do so if they wish.
You will not need to reference your previous objection.
I hope the above information helps, but if you need any further advice, please let me know. Also, if you find you are having trouble with the ePlanning portal, you can always send me your new objection(s) and I will forward them to Development Control, on your behalf.
Objections must be submitted by Friday 24 January.
Best wishes and thank you for all your efforts in opposing this planning application.
