Hey All!,
Im still here its still Craig - but undergoing a slight rebrand.🥳
Now that i'm predominately fixed in the Fox's Den (Vulpes Studios) I've decided to fold down my Producer / Mixer page and push the studio instead. Ultimately all the pictures of gear and music stuff is far prettier than my old mug anyways so win win for you guys 😅

Final touches in progress is just touching up the scuffed paintwork and we've started to hang to clouds, and I'll be honest it's actually the most terrifying part. Just crossing my fingers gravity doesn't want to play any games.

Aaaaand we're back in rainy old England. After getting rescued at 4am from a flat car battery we managed to get back on the road and arrived home. Thanks to everyone who helped us get away! We had a great time!

In a much needed break away from the last year's worth of studio building, me and this bean have spent the last week chilling in the sun, catching turtle, taking stupid pictures and just not being at work. And it's been amazing!
Although I am secretly looking forward to getting back to the studio

We made some progress in the live room, finally started to move everything to its permanent home. Just the clouds to cover and hang... however we're going to achieve that and the live room should be complete.

Today marks a huge day in the studio build, The orange panels on the wall were built about 2 years ago during lock down whilst in the flat. They marked the first point of the advent of vulpes studios and today. They're finally making their way onto the walls in the studio.

Skirting is on in the control room, and been spending the afternoon cutting up wood for the acoustic panels, orange for the control patterned for the live room.

And that's the second room done, with help from . Wall box, cat5 and the internal cameras all Brought brought through the wall. Just to bring the electrics through the wall and finish taping the joints.

Following all the health and safety rules here at vulpes studios, 2nd layer up and begun installation of the osb on the walls, then onto plasterboarding the walls.

I thought doors were hard.... Safe to say the ceiling plasterboard was harder 😂.
Now just another layer to go on the ceiling and we can finally stop reaching for the stars.

Some snaps of the weekends progress. The first photo highlights how the room within the room design works. The darker timber is the roof and the lighter timbers are the ceiling which are resting on the stud walls completely independently of the rest of the structure.
The final photo is the make shift attempt at roof ventilation 😂

The final door has been hung! We delayed this one because the first two were such a PITA but finally decided to crack on and it went really smoothly!?
Makes a big difference reducing sound wise too!
CCTV cameras have began installation and insulation nearly finished then onto the plasterboard.

Onto the final door, hopefully will get this hung soon then its time for the final 47 packs of rockwool to go into to walls and ceiling. Moving the first 10 bags was a hassle Going to be fun moving another tonne of those bags into the studio 😂.
But It feels like the end might actually be in sight!
