Our raised bed has 'grown'.

Thank you to a wonderful lady and her donation of fruit bushes. These are temporarily in pots until they get planted properly in the ground.

Do bear us is mind if you are clearing out plants, or fancy joining our group that is looking after them.

THE CAMPING RULING ON DARTMOOR HAS JUST BEEN OVERTURNED!

The right in law to do so was removed in January this year following a challenge by a landowner. But following an appeal from campaigners and Dartmoor National Park Authority, judges have unanimously agreed that the original law "confers on members of the public the right to rest or sleep on Dartmoor Commons, whether by day or night and whether on a tent or otherwise" as long as bylaws are followed.

This makes us very happy!

Great news! The court of appeal has ruled in our favour regarding the legal proceedings and the right to backpack camp on Dartmoor commons.

We're very pleased with the result, but ask if you are planning a backpack camping trip to please check the camping map and follow leave no trace principles ⛺️👍

It's July which can only mean one thing! Carnival week is racing up!

Kicking off with Picnic in the Park Saturday 29th July 4pm-10pm Mill Marsh!

Our line up is available to view online - but we will give them a proper shout and welcome soon!

We'd love for the community to get involved with as many events as possible so please check them out! We are here to help if anyone needs it.

Good Afternoon!

Carnival committee are back to planning after our little winter break and the warmer weather is already getting us in the mood for summer!!
