THE BASTARDS RETURN?

Danny “The Bastard” Christie last stepped into bare knuckle headlining BKFC Birmingham, where he challenged Connor “The Brumtown Bomber” Tierney for the BKFC welterweight crown. On the night, Tierney was simply the more skilled man but there’s absolutely no shame in losing to a champion of that level.

After the fight, Danny “The Bastard” Christie announced his retirement. But don’t be mistaken he hasn’t been sat on the couch. He’s kept himself active on the unlicensed scene, staying sharp and making a few quid along the way. Fair play to him.

Now things are starting to get interesting again. Recently, Danny Christie has shown interest in having a scrap with fellow Brit and BKFC fighter Aaron “The Joker” Chalmers. And this doesn’t look like bad blood or fake beef it looks like two lads who simply fancy testing themselves against each other. No drama, just a proper fight.

And let’s be honest they both carry huge followings, real fanbases that turn up and tune in, so from a business point of view the numbers would definitely make sense as well.

So the question is simple…
Do we see The Bastard vs Aron The Joker in 2026? We shall see. 👊

The Welsh go marching in

Ash “Bash” Williams ain’t the biggest man in the room but dont let that fool ya because im tellin ya this lad hits like a cruiserweight and carries real ring iq with him every time he steps into the trigon. He proved that on his American debut when Ash Bash Williams walked into hostile territory and sparked out American Jorge Bargello in the second round. Straight in no kissing . Just business handled.

That win didn’t just turn heads, it earned him a shot at the Police Gazette World Title a dream come true for a Welsh Commonwealth medalist and serving soldier who’s built for pressure and doesn’t fold when it matters.

Now he’s flying back out with his team and head coach Adrian Shearan, locked in, disciplined, and chasing one thing only… becoming Wales’ only current BKB world champion by beating Ramirez

WHO WANTS IT?

Rico Bon Bon Franco has once again defied the odds.Another surgery. Another setback. All brought on by his ongoing Crohn’s and colitis battle.
And yethere we are again.

The truth is this: Rico isn’t one to moan. He doesn’t look for sympathy. Mentally and physically, he’s one of the toughest men I’ve ever met. That last operation had been needed for a long time, if we’re being honest. Most fighters would’ve taken it before the Sweeney trilogy. But not Rico.He wanted that European strap.
And in true Rico fashion, he went out and took it a brutal six round war that showed exactly what kind of champion he is.

Now fast forward to next year A healed body. A clear head.
No half fit compromises. This is shaping up to be the first fully fight-fit Rico we’ve seen in years—and that should worry absolutely everyone in the division. An already dangerous champion, now with nothing holding him back.I can’t fu***ng wait.

So I’ll ask it again…
WHO WANTS IT?

Britain’s next champion ?

Dan Gettins is flying the flag for Great Britain in the biggest fight of his career as he headlines BKB 50 in America, stepping straight into the champion’s backyard to challenge Javon Wright for the Police Gazette World Championship at welterweight and it doesn’t get any bigger than that. This isn’t just another fight, this is history on the line. A win would see Gettins become the only current BKB world champion in Great Britain, carrying the Police Gazette belt back home and stamping his name into bare-knuckle folklore.

Inside the Trigon, Dan Gettins is an absolute menace. Relentless pressure and a composure that breaks men down. His unblemished record tells the story five fights, five wins, five knockouts and what makes it even scarier is that he looks better every single time he steps in. No lucky runs, no gimmicks. He has earned this shot the hard way, working through opponents and leaving no doubt behind him.

And let’s not forget who we’re dealing with . A former Paratrooper, built for hostile territory and high pressure situations. Flying to America, fighting in the champion’s backyard, under bright lights and a loud crowd? That won’t faze him in the slightest. This is a man who thrives when it’s uncomfortable, when it’s real, when it’s sink or swim. Pressure doesn’t break him it makes it normal

Add another layer to the story and it gets even bigger. Outside the Trigon, Gettins is also a rising star in the acting world, proving he has the discipline, presence, and mindset to succeed wherever he puts his focus. But make no mistake when it’s fight night, he’s a different animal inthe Trigon, and that is where he does his talking

Can Dan Gettins add BKB World Champion to his résumé?
I believe he can and I believe he will. Let’s get behind him.Let’s make some noise.Britain stands with you. 🇬🇧

THE YORKSHIRE GLADIATOR SIGNS OFF

Anthony “The Yorkshire Gladiator” Holmes has officially announced his retirement from bare knuckle boxing, bringing the curtain down on a career built the hard way.

A former BKB British champion and a long time championship level fighter, Holmes lived at the sharp end of the UK scene. Nothing was ever handed to him. He was never matched easy, never protected, and never turned down the tough nights. If a fight needed someone real, Holmes was the man they called.

Across BKB and BKFC, he closes the book with a 5-2-1 bare-knuckle record, sharing the ring with some of the hardest names the sport has produced. Wins over Daniel Lerwell, Darren Hendry, Chaz Wasserman and Mason Shaw, alongside wars with Ryan Barrett, Danny Christie, Bart Krol, and a final push for British title glory against Connor Cooke, tell the story of a fighter who always belonged at the top table.

He stepped into title fights, headlined major shows, and travelled wherever the work was, carrying himself like a professional every single time. While he was never crowned a world champion, he was always world-level in ability, toughness, and mindset, and anyone who shared the ring with him knew they were in for a real night’s work.

Injuries, setbacks and tough losses never broke him. He rebuilt, came back, and proved time and again that quitting was never in his nature. That grit, that pressure, and that Yorkshire pride defined his career as much as any win ever could.

Enjoy retirement, Gladiator.
You’ve earned every ounce of respect this sport can give.

The Mute’s Time to Shine

Scott “The Mute” McHugh is locked in for BKB on February 21st, back at The O2 the very place where it all started for him many years ago. And this one means more than most, because this will be his 20th fight under the BKB banner. Loyalty ya can’t buy that …

Twenty times this man has stepped into the Trigon and the ring against some of the best bare knuckle fighters in the world. No shortcuts. No handouts. Just graft, wars, and consistency. Along the way he’s been stopped built him self back picked up multiple British titles and climbed all the way to become a world champion. That kind of résumé doesn’t happen by accident it’s earned the hard way.

So with all that said, I genuinely believe Scott deserves a big fight, one that matches his legacy and pushes him straight back into the title picture. And here’s my take: Paulie “The Magic Man” Malignaggi makes perfect sense. A high-profile clash, massive fan interest, real narrative and a title eliminator that sets the winner up for a shot at Rolando Dy’s world title later in the year, maybe even on U.S. soil.

It’s a fight that works for the fans, it works for the fighters, and it fits the moment. If there was ever a time for The Mute to get the shine he’s earned this is it fight fans let me know what you think
