Great to be in Windsor this weekend with our client Invacare supporting a mass participation triathlon powered by Marvel Entertainment.

Excellent to see the likes of Clare Balding and Channel 4 supporting the event which welcomed over 3,300 people taking part in a fully accessible triathalon at Dorney Lake.

We had a great day yesterday working with global technology business Createc as they opened their brand new HQ in Cockermouth complimenting their offices in Japan and Oxford.

📍Createc is a technology business specialising in robotics, radiation measurement, sensing, and AI. The company works in the nuclear, transport, defence, and security sectors.

With the team’s extensive nuclear experience, Createc developed its highly-regarded N-Visage® technology in 2010, used in the clean-up following the Fukushima Daiichi accident in Japan.

Within their offices is a world-leading physicists’ laboratory with first-of-a-kind radiometric devices to measure radiation levels at Fukushima.

👉 Createc’s 1,000m² headquarters will become a hub for further innovation and expansion.

Students get hands-on experience working on live client projects and visiting our clients onsite, gaining knowledge about all aspects of a creative communications agency, from public relations to marketing to photography and graphic design.

🌊 Congratulations to Platinum Live client Osprey Management Group who have been announced as the operator of The Edge, a transformative harbourside costal activity centre in Whitehaven.

The Edge will consist of 16 en-suite hotel rooms with harbour views, meeting rooms, changing facilities, public toilets and a café.

The project is being overseen by Whitehaven Harbour Commissioners (WHC), and Osprey will manage the hospitality, accommodation and associated operations.

Osprey are known for their portfolio of quality establishments, including The Peddler at the award-winning Bus Station in Whitehaven, The Galloping Horse in High Harrington and the newly acquired Hunday Manor Country House Hotel, near Workington.

The Edge is supported through Sellafield Ltd’s Social Impact Multiplied – SiX – programme and the Government’s Coastal Communities Fund.

We're thrilled to share the fantastic achievement of our client, BEC, who has secured multi-million-pound backing for a digital and gaming hub project in Whitehaven thanks to Sellafield Ltd and BT.

This initiative is not only a game-changer for the town but also a significant step in addressing the skills gap and contributing to the overall regeneration of the area.

Spanning four floors, the hub is set to become a dynamic space, featuring:

• A vibrant cafe
• Green screens
• A digital recording studio
• A stunning rooftop terrace
• Dedicated esports and VR areas

This will be housed in the former furniture store building on Duke Street, right at the heart of Whitehaven's town centre.

As our head office is located in Whitehaven, we are super excited about this project's positive impact on our local community.

BEC has announced that construction is set to commence in early summer 2024, with the grand opening anticipated in Quarter 3 of 2025.

We look forward to witnessing the transformation of this space and the positive ripple effect it will have on the town and the West Coast!
