I treated myself to these gorgeous Luna Cat Tarot cards over Christmas. I saw the High Priestess, and she looked so much like Choo Choo, I just had to have her. Looking through the rest of the deck (major arcana only), I found lookalikes for Randall and Geraldine too, in Justice and the Empress. Even the personalities are a pretty good match!

Traditionally on New Year's Day I set my goals for the year ahead. I didn't do that last year, due to all the uncertainty. And would you believe it, I didn't achieve much at all. 2021 was a pretty horrible year for me on a personal level, and it honestly feels like I spent it in a kind of limbo. So I need to set more concrete goals for 2022:
- The first and most important: PERFORM. Constantly changing restrictions around venue opening and travel made that hard last year, but I need to get back to the stage in a big way this year. And get a personal project finally up and running
- Sing. I worked a lot on my singing this year, but haven't really showcased it much. That needs to change
- Host. I love hosting shows and I've not had any chances to do it for a long time
- Drag. My King alter ego has very much been on the back burner. He needs more love
- Travel. I've barely left my home town, and I need a holiday. I miss being in new places. UK or abroad
- Upgrade. Most of my acts need a little something extra, whether it be a new costume piece, or a new spin on some choreography. Nothing is ever fully finished!
Now ... time to get working and make this all happen!

Year of Colour 2021. After the top nine collage, it should be no surprise that this is dominated by shades of green and ginger. A very calming, muted, and earthy palette, with the occasional bright pop

It's time for my
Much like last year's grid, this is dominated by selfies in front of my green wall. Due to all the uncertainty around venue opening and restrictions, there wasn't much gigging for me. Hopefully next year that will change, and I can get some more variety in my pictures! Also, Insta's cropping has done me dirty - the first shot is a video thumbnail (I promise it gets more interesting than the side of my hair), and the centre shot isn't usually so gratuitous!

My outfit for A Winter's Tease last night. I love these braces - I embellished them with jewellery pieces, because as we all know, more is more - and whenever I wear them I feel like my hard femme energy is amplified. Speaking of which: I love this song I found on TikTok!
