It’s Freelancer Friday! Today we’re shouting about Hishanth Jegathasan () - or Hish to his friends. Hish is a gaffer who we worked with on our trailer for Othello with and is about as hardworking and passionate as a person can be! As well as his work as a gaffer, Hish is the co-founder of .co - a platform celebrating the roots and inspirations of Tamil diaspora musicians. Seeing Hish at work is always a joy, and you couldn’t wish for a more down-to-earth and caring person for the team. Hit him up for some lighting goodness!

Fantastic day shooting with GTR and our frequent partners at Worthwhile Training last week shooting a disability awareness short branded film. It was a full on day with a fire down the tracks really putting the ‘fire’ into Firewood Pictures, but our fantastic team worked hard to make the day as fun and positive as could be, and we’re super proud of the result!
