Young At Heart - The Bluebells. Originally released on Bananarama's debut album 'Deep Sea Skiving' in 1983, Young At Heart was re-recorded by The Bluebells and released as a single in 1984, reaching #8 on the UK singles chart. A decade later, the song made a surprising comeback, hitting #1 for four weeks when the track was featured in a Volkswagen commercial in 1993, which lead to The Bluebells temporarily reforming to perform the song on Top of The Pops that year.

The Mike Flowers Pops were key players in London’s unlikely cabaret revival of the mid-90s. With their 13-piece live show taking in unlikely interpretations of hits by artists as varied as Björk and The Doors, the band found themselves in a race to the 1995 Christmas Number One spot with their easy-listening cover of Oasis’s smash-hit, ‘Wonderwall'!
Peaking at #2 in the UK and reaching #1 in Scotland, they managed to beat Oasis’s version at #7, only being pipped to the post by Michael Jackson’s ‘Earth Song’. Described by Lou Reed as “one of the funnest things I’ve heard in my life”, the original 1995 single is now available digitally for the first time, featuring b-sides 'Son of God' and 'Theme from Memory Man'.
