how.Mastering is all about balancing the program material to its needs, making it sound as sweet as possible, accessible on all listening systems, and most importantly we make sure you the client are happy with the sound. This involves working with the dynamic structure, equalisation, stereo field and other more subtle parameters. Essential too is the final preparation of the audio to the corrrect specification for manufacture/digital delivery. Light Vessel Mastering is run by Robin Tyndale-Biscoe, a Mastering Engineer & musician, with a background in acoustic design consultancy and electronic music production. At the end of the day, you need great ears, room and equipment to master well. The facility provides for just that, without excessive frills and nonsense. Superb quality results at a fine price. We just like things nautical and feel the Lightvessel is pretty evocative. We master on dry land but very near the sea.....
