Chocolate Fireguard is an independent record label from Huddersfield. From time to time Chocolate Fireguard also promotes events, festivals and helps run projects worldwide to promote regional talent. The label has released artists such as label honcho Pat Fulgoni, his dance/rock outfit Kava Kava, French hip hop crew La Cedille, The Bluefoot Project featuring Rachel Modest, compilations such as In

teresting Flavours and Taster ... Sounds From The Funky Underground, plus girl punk rockers Mary-Jane and hip hop grime artist Practical Headz (both under the "Showcasing Huddersfield" scheme)

Yorkshire expression - as much use as a chocolate fireguard aka as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Pretty amazing seeing Rachel of the Bluefoot Project on the Voice (whatever you may think of such tv) 20 years after we released her band Bluefoot Project to critical acclaim. The reviewers clocked her epic voice thats for sure. Check this one out in much missed funk soul Acid Jazz mag Straight No Chaser. A couple more quotes here:

Bluefoot Project at Hyde Park Unity Day 😀👏

Awesome to play Hyde Park Unity Day with Pat Fulgoni Blues Experience and ace to now be watching the Bluefoot Project who I had the pleasure of releasing on Chocolate Fireguard a good few years ago. Back together for a first gig in ages with an expanded line up! Off to Beaver Works now to sing some drum n bass at Boombox Circus 😀
