GovWire is the latest project from publishing company CliqTo. Our goal is to aggregate all news and announcements from the UK Government and re-publish (under an Open Government Licence) as a fully-fledged portal for news. The current announcements website from .gov.uk is primarily text-based, and we wanted to become more visual, so we decided to create a 'mash-up' of the RSS feeds that are public
ly available. All government departments are searched for the latest news, including both ministerial departments and public bodies (quangos).
