North Devon Moving Image www.northdevonmovingimage.org.uk (NDMI) has launched the production of an exciting new short film series. Boat Stories, researched directed & produced by local film writer Jo Stewart-Smith, will be ten short films about sustainable fishing and life on and around the water in north Devon. The project will be managed by NDMI and will engage talented local film makers, help t

o promote the local fishing industry and entertain and inspire our viewers with some very special stories on film. Boat Stories will keep you up to date via its website, Facebook and Twitter accounts where you can find out about the stories behind the films and see some snippets of footage as the project progresses. Huge kudos to the RNLI on their 200 anniversary. Just posting a link to a film we made about one of the few independent lifeboat stations Sidmouth who work alongside the RNLI rescuing people.

On Call with Sidmouth Lifeboat Simon our DOP is a trainee crew member on the Sidmouth lifeboat. We made this film for all the wonderful volunteer crew, shore team, support team and fundraisers on the Sidmouth lifeboat. It is theirs to show and share. The Sidmouth lifeboat is independent of the RNLI....
