Transcending boundaries since 2005
The International Journal of Media and Cultural Politics was founded in 2005 by Professors Katharine Sarikakis and Neil Blain, with Liza Tsaliki as the Commentaries editor and John L. Sullivan as book reviews editor.
In 2014 Francisco Seoane Pérez, which had served as editorial assistant since 2007, became a co-editor, replacing Neil Blain. Also in 2014 Ericka Menchen-Trevino became the book reviews editor.
The journal has greatly benefited over the years from the scholarly prowess of Mary Griffiths, Kati Lustyk, Bridgette Wessels, Marina Dekavalla and Joan Ramon Rodriguez-Amat, who at different periods served as associate editors.
