Dream Catcher's publisher, Stairwell Books, is sponsoring a festival in New Milton on the edge of the New Forest. Included in the event is an all day book fair on Saturday the 4th of November. We would like to feature Dream Catcher but we need some volunteers to look after the Dream Catcher part of our stand.
There is also room for contributors to have free space to promote their own titles: if you'd like to book some space to bring and display your own books please contact [email protected].
First come etc... - please don't use Facebook messenger as messages will be missed.

The price of mailing out a copy of Dream Catcher has risen to the dizzy height of £2.40: that is an increase of 55p or 23%. And the sick thing is they'll go up again in April...

Really great interview with author Dawn Treacher! Jericho is engaged & interested, and Dawn is charming and clever. Fun all around.

It's about 10 mins into the show but actually Jericho is worth just leaving it on. He's excellent!

The work is done, summer creeps closer to autumn, and new contributions keep flowing in: yes! Dream Catcher 47 is on its way to the Post Office to commence swimming upstream to your door. Assuming predators miss copies as they leap up weirs and navigate the eddies of sorting offices.
Those who live in the great far away spawning grounds, as long as customs officers don't eat your copies as they struggle upstream they will eventually arrive...

It's that time again - the Stairwell dispatch department are girding their loins for a record mailing and contributor orders are pouring in. The proof readers are scouring the printed proof for gotyas, yes, we do miss the odd one, so the journal will be released for printing early next week.
Yes, there will be a short wait while the printers do their thing, and the dispatchers (me) pack the books for mailing but this is what you will shortly be receiving...

We're delighted to announce that Jo Clement's debut collection Outlandish has been shortlisted for the John Pollard Foundation International Poetry Prize 2023. The prize is awarded annually for an outstanding debut collection of poetry in the English language and is administered by the Trinity Oscar Wilde Centre in the School of English at Trinity College Dublin.

Jo Clement's powerful debut exploring Gypsy, Roma and Traveller identity and culture was published by Bloodaxe last May. For more on the book and the John Pollard Prize, see:

It is with deep regret that the UK privatised mail infrastructure is unable to accept packages for foreign parts. I must apologise for the irresponsibility of the UK government and their profiteering mail subsidiary that US and European Dream Catchers will not be dispatched until early March.
