⭐️Book Spotlight⭐️

📘📖 Reading Rites by Evelyn Conlon

Reflecting on her own life, Conlon takes the lens of her own writing to consider the legacy of historical moments such as 1916, the Irish education system, the effects of the Catholic Church on the lives of women and so many more in a wonderful part memoir and part manifesto. The poignance of her writing makes the act of reading one of empowerment over Irish histories of social change, in a memorable and fantastically witty essay collection.
