We attended the 2022 London Design Festival to check out how is overhauling the business, mission and skills in a creative sector once the domain of only graphic .

In a special collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum, the festival gave us a peep into the future of design. It displayed and exhibited new and exciting sustainable creative concepts that emerge when old and new tech are merged with design.

As the global world gets ready for the IBC mega event to return IRL in Amsterdam this September, our editor Juliana Koranteng is chuffed to report the winner of its recent IBC Accelerator of the Year Award, for which she was honoured to be a judge. The winning team, (Location-Based Extended Realities), developed a proof-of-concept project that could propel the experience of playing and viewing live and other competitive-gaming experiences to a new level. This includes esports incorporating and , activities that would have so far required impossibly heavy-duty computing power. But as this multiple-companies team (pictured) showed, it could become mass-market friendly if ultra high-speed 5G Internet connectivity is applied.
