It's official- The Echo is for sale. Running the magazine has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. From interviewing our incredible cover artists and big names in the snowsports world, to the madness of organising the Monoski World Championships, it has been varied, enriching and eye-opening. The time has come to hand over the mantle to someone who sees the potential in the magazine that someone named Jim from a wee brand called Planks described as the "The Lifeblood of the Community".

The Echo is on an upwards trajectory of growth, engagement and community involvement. So this is a promising opportunity for an individual or business to expand The Echo's reach and further grow the brand.

Today would have been the event that could not be 😢 we will be setting up a commemorative flat ground monoski obstacle course in our garden.
Feel free to honour this day in your own way, tag us in your story when you do and we will choose a winner for spirit of the monoski.

Huge thanks and congratulations to the team at the Tignes Film Awards for running such an incredible event!

Team Africa by Toto thoroughly enjoyed making our film and the premiere night was spectacular! Amazing work from the teams that entered films- there were some real gems and the creativity (and skiing) was absolutely insane.

We really cannot wait to see what this event holds in store for the future.

You guys should be incredibly proud of your work in making such a cool thing happen.

A couple of mistakes were made in the Vie Val d'Is article in this week's Echo. Just to clarify, the Seasonaire Party will be held on the 8th of January, not in December as written.

Also, the off-piste equipment rented out for Vie Val d'Is card holders after they've attended an Avalanche Safety Talk (first one tomorrow), DOES NOT include an ABS. It is a transceiver, shovel and probe.

Many apologies for the misinformation. We will do better!
