Calling All Pompom Enthusiasts!

Are you a pompom-making maestro?
We need your skills and generosity to help us decorate our magical woodland Grotto!

Join us at the Watchtree Cafe on Thursday, November 14th from 5pm to 8pm for a fun-filled pompom-making session!

We are looking for LOTS of medium, large, and extra-large pompoms (15cm and 20cm in diameter) in festive colours. Your handcrafted pompoms will add a touch of whimsy and cheer to our holiday decorations.

As a token of our appreciation, we’ll be providing all attendees with a free brew. Bring your creativity, your wool, and your festive spirit—we can’t wait to see you there!

Are your children’s vaccinations up to date?

You can check your child‘s personal child health record ‘Red Book’ to check their routine vaccinations are up to date. If you are still unsure, speak to your GP surgery.

If you’re not vaccinated, you’re not protected.

Childhood diseases such as measles and whooping cough (pertussis) are on the rise in your area. If your child hasn’t had the MMR (measles, mumps and rubella) vaccination they are at risk.
Measles can be a very serious disease and one in five children who catch it need a hospital visit. Two doses of MMR vaccine are needed to get the best protection. Whooping cough can cause long bouts of coughing and choking making it hard to breathe. It can last for up to ten weeks. In babies it is very serious and can kill. The whooping cough (pertussis) vaccine is included in routine childhood vaccinations.

If your child is due to be vaccinated or has missed any vaccines, you can book an appointment at your GP surgery. At the appointment the surgery will check that your child is up to date with all their routine vaccinations.
