nd aims to develop and reach out at an array of people and generations. Catalogue includes, Children's Fiction & Adventure, Nursery & Pre-school interactive characters.We support world-book day and support schools and libraries to promote reading to all age groups and reading levels. Our aim is to develop an Hear-to-Read software that has been specially developed to help children with reading difficulties - the unique software gives the reader the ability to read and learn at their own pace. Kema Sikazwe on battling racism and bullies to become an actor in I, Daniel Blake,
Sikazwe moved to Newcastle when he was three years old with his brother and parents. Supported by his uncle, Ronald Penza, Zambia’s then minister of finance, the idea was for his father to study and for the family to move back to Zambia once his education was complete.

“The show is very much my story,” he says, “from being born in Zambia to coming to Newcastle, and the struggles I found here. There weren’t a lot of black kids around where I grew up, and I had to deal with a lot of racism. Then when I got older I was asked why I spoke so white. I started to find out who I really was through doing theatre. I was always shy when I was growing up, but I believe in who I am now, and I accept who I am. Part of the reason for doing the show is to take it out there to people who might be like I was, and to inspire them to be themselves.”

Here at POPIN HQ, we are trying to raise the issue of the early years ages, where some children never attend a formal setting so they tend to miss out on the vital EYFS foundation. In turn, some are then starting on their school journey not at the expected levels. So we created POPIN Magazine (POPIN ) as it is full of the techniques and activities a child needs in order to grow, learn and develop with their parent/carer at home. We are missing a vital gap with our little learners that aren't taught in a 'formal' setting. They then aren't ready for reception class which makes us sad. And can make our little one anxious and feel 'unconfident' and under too much 'pressure'.
