During this period I also produced large numbers of single panel gag cartoons for agencies in Germany such as Boiselle-Lohmann and Baaske Agency –these going to magazines and publications around Europe. From 1984 to present I've been self publishing comics as well as publications on a wide variety of subjects under the Black Tower banner. Some of you may be aware that I am also a naturalist (with an international reputation to boot so yah! Boo! Sucks!) and that I specialise in canids, felids and some mustelids. THAT is the reason things have slowed up somewhat.

I am having to complete a report based on 80 post mortems of foxes that have died unusually. Lovely hi def post mortem photos that are enough to put you off your lasagne.

Anyway, once that is out of the way the art pages that I am also cleaning up for two books will go through lettering and be ready (I hope) by the end of January 2025.

In the mean time there are 200+ books on the online store.

I also want to organist a one day comic mart in Bristol for 2025 and build on the interest from Europe in BTC books.

There. Updated. Now back to blood filled chest cavities!

The other rumours which I would never have heard of had someone not sent me screenshots....

I have signed a huge deal with a Chinese publishing house to have BTCG books published there.

Fantasy.

Through connections I am getting the Green Skies and Return of the Gods published in Japan next year.

More fantasy.

I wish people in UK comic circles would leave me out of their fantasising -publish some bloody comics instead...oh, we don't have a comic industry any more. I keep forgetting.

One thing that is true is that I am trying to set up a one day comic event. Comics only -mine and others -Big Black Tower Comic Fest. And, no, all those non entity comic personalities that have done their best to cause me problems over the years will not be invited and as a private event there is a black list.

There was talk online that I had bought out Fantagraphic Books.

That is from some very fevered imaginations.

It is not true and I would never help Fantagraphics out as anyone who knew anything about my dealings with them and their breach of contracts knows.
