Gleniffer DTC Championship Agility Show 2023

ALL IMAGES NOW ONLINE...

PLEASE DO NOT SCREENSHOT or COPY - you can buy a social image from around the same price as a decent cup of coffee and stay legal (and help us to be able to turn up at your next show!)

There are over 17,500 images from the two days, which means on average there are around 25 images from every single run that I saw - enough in most cases to make one of my montages!

I photographed every dog in the Novelty Dog Show (I think), the first Fell Pony Display, the Tug-of-War, Terrier Racing and a few other things as well.

Pictures are all straight out of camera, so not edited or enhanced in any way. Enhanced / edited versions are available, but not for instant download, obviously!

Please let me know if you or your children are featured and want those images removed.

Gleniffer Dog Training Club have kindly invited me to be the Official Photographer at the Championship show on 2-3rd September.

Requests will be considered if there are any particular classes you would like me to photograph.

I may also be able to do some mini-photoshoots after the competition closes - weather and time permitting.

I photographed every dog in the following classes...

Ring 4 - Agility Graded 1-3, Large, Intermediate & Small dogs
Ring 8 - Medium Jumping Graded 1-3
(I may have missed 1 or 2 dogs that ran late, as I had to go to Ring 4 before the ring was closed)
Championship Classes:
Small & Medium Agility Championship Heats
Large & Intermediate Championship Finals
I also photographed a couple of dogs in the Large Championship Jumping heat.

I've reduced my digital prices to reflect the bad weather and wet dogs and you can have 5 web-res downloads for just £10 (or 4 printable jpegs for just £25)

Off to Weardale Dog Agility Club Championship Show this weekend (22/23 July 2023)

Haven't planned my photography coverage yet, so fire away and suggest classes for me to shoot if you definitely want pictures!

I tend to stay for an entire class, so that no competitor misses out, but am happy to move around during course-walking and ring setup, so please ask if you want pictures but are not in the ring I'm on. Look out for my A-Board to see which ring I'm on 👍

The Dog Tog (aka Watts Photography) is Back!

I am now available to photograph agility shows, training clubs, or even indiividual competitors wanting professional photographs.

was extensively involved in the sport at an International level for many years - as a trainer, judge, commentator and team manager, as well as photographer. I also teach photography and can assure you of the best possible images of every dog on the day.

In most cases I will have enough images to make one of my special montages as a lasting memento (this can include more than one dog at the same show and can be made to either include or exclude the handler according to your wishes)

COVID 19 / News UPDATE:

Apologies for lack of content on this page, but I am locked down in a new home with no broadband/3G mobile signal! (currently sitting freezing in my car at the sand dunes to post this update!)

Unfortunately, I have had to cancel all workshops / availability until March, due to National and anticipated local Lockdowns, here in the North West.

Please rest assured all existing issued vouchers will be honoured (with further extended dates, if necessary), and any new vouchers purchased will also be extended indefinitely, if the situation continues.

COPYRIGHT AGAIN - PHOTOS ON FACEBOOK ARE NOT FREE!

Just because a photo is on the Internet - Facebook / Twitter / Flickr / Pinterest / etc - does NOT mean it is FREE for anyone to copy or use!! Facebook does not allow people to prevent 'Sharing' of images, or downloading them, but as soon as you use that image ANYWHERE or in ANY WAY other than as a Facebook 'Share' (on a personal timeline only) you are already in breach of copyright and may have committed a criminal offence.

ALL photographs are the property of the copyright owner (who is the photographer, unless stated otherwise) - copying or taking them from their original location is THEFT, unless you have either purchased the right to use them and/or you have the copyright owner's permission... Remember, the photographer only has to SEE that image being used outside the copyright terms to be able to start legal action.

Even when you have purchased a photo (or have their permission to download it), just like music downloaded from iTunes, etc (or bought on CD), you then DO NOT OWN the photograph - you only have the RIGHT TO USE it within the restrictions stated in the terms and conditions at the time: which is always assumed to be for personal, non-commercial use ONLY, unless otherwise specifically stated.

Please don't risk a conviction and criminal record for the sake of a small purchase price - it just isn't worth it... We are fed up of losing money to theft, and so, photographers are eagerly looking for offenders currently. We have software that is able to search the internet for illegal use of our images and we urgently need to make examples of offenders - to protect our livelihoods!

Don't let that be YOU!
