Last summer we spent 3 weeks travelling around the country to a number of gliding clubs as part of an initiative called Glide Britain for the British Gliding Association. The main output is to come in the next few weeks, but this is one of the videos we made for the clubs we visited.

Glide Britain Day Six: So pleased to capture this today - a bungee launch - it's the way gliders were launched in 1930s. This is the only place left in the UK that still does it, and only when the wind is the right strength in the right direction - about a dozen times a year - so we got really lucky.

Glide Britain day minus one: Spent all day prepping kit. Now know how to balance a Ronin, and how to link a bazillion GoPros together (clue: don't test/use the GoPro remote near your laptop because you get wifi interference). 13 cameras to back up and keep running every day! The enormity of the task has just hit me, but it'll be fine after we hit a rhythm in a couple of days.

Just a few cameras then!

A few pics from last week - when we were nominated in a couple of categories at the Royal Television Society awards - where we were up against a bunch of TV shows! Thanks once again to Creative Leicestershire for being an amazing client, and to Indigo Blue Media for being awesome collaborators.

We're proud to have been nominated for two RTS awards and be up against such quality as the BBC, North One Television and Maverick. Amazing night.

Help Wanted!

We are looking for someone to work with us on a flexible, freelance basis doing some creative administration. Recently we have entirely focussed on producing more stock/ library video clip footage and would love to find someone reliable and conscientious to take over the keywording which is proving to be a bit of a bottle neck for us.

We are looking for someone who is:

- conscientious (without good keywords, our work is wasted)
- good with words
- good spelling and grammar
- able to think laterally with a bit of a creative flair
- knowledgable of both European and North American cultural references

We are offering:

- Very flexible hours
- Working from home - all work is online
- Ongoing work for the right person - a few hours per week - but also a biggish backlog right now
- Pay based on work done, rather than time taken - good extra cash for the right person

Some pics from last Friday's amazing IVCA awards dinner in London, where we won Gold for Best Photography for a film co-produced with Indigo Blue Media for Creative Leicestershire- we really enjoyed ourselves afterwards! ;)

Amazing news to win the Best Photography section at the IVCA Awards 2014. Thanks to Creative Leicestershire for a great brief, and to Blueberry Child Films for a great collaboration.

A new addition to our mantlepiece :) - an amazing IVCA Gold award for the film we made with Indigo Blue Media for Best Photography.

Our client Creative Leicestershire, not only allowed us to experiment, but almost demanded that we do so - luckily the crazy mixmatch of techniques (lens whacking, overhead jib shots, super slow motion etc etc) managed to gel together and work!
