Introducing the Scottish players repping Great Britain at the World Junior Ultimate Championships, 2024! Angus, Hannah and Charlotte will be competing at WJUC in Birmingham for the next week, and we're so excited to see how they get on. We reached out to them ahead of the tournament, which starts tomorrow, to find out about their experience playing ultimate so far. Have a read, and don't forget to wish them luck!

The Release Point REWIND!

A few years ago, player/coach/BNOC Shaun Webb penned an article for The Release Point, discussing the importance of youth ultimate and its progress in Scotland.

Whilst not a lot has changed in Scotland since then, it's clear that hard work and commitment pay off - several players from the Glasgow Ultimate youth programme will be representing Great Britain in the u20 World Championships and u17 European Championships this summer! Look out for our coverage of the events, and have a read of Shaun's article in the meantime.

The ultimate club season has well and truly kicked off, and we're already halfway through. After another great season of university indoor ultimate in Scotland, what better way to reflect on it than putting together a mixed indoors team consisting of the best 10 students in Scottish university ultimate ie. a ✨️dream team ✨️ !

The Release Point and Scottish Student Ultimate are joining forces to do just that, but we need your help!

If you want to have a say, use the form linked below to nominate at least 1 male-matching and 1 female-matching player to be a part of the 'dream team'. Each player you nominate must have played for a Scottish uni in a UKU indoor tournament during the term of 2023-2024 i.e. regionals or nationals. You don't have to be a student to make nominations, and they're anonymous.
