🏁 Algarve Pro Racing Team's Olli Caldwell Racing, Matthias Kaiser and Roman De Angelis Racing edged into the top eight at the back end of the tumultuous 92nd 24 Heures du Mans, which encompassed all of the trials and tribulations of endurance racing 🇫🇷

📢 Algarve Pro Racing Team has crept up into the top ten in LMP2 following a challenging start to the 92nd 24 Heures du Mans, impacted by an early repair stop and balance issues with the #25 ORECA 07-Gibson of Olli Caldwell Racing, Matthias Kaiser and Roman De Angelis Racing ⏩ https://bit.ly/3Vmv6Ul 🇫🇷

However, CrowdStrike Racing by APR’s quest for a second consecutive LMP2 Pro-Am victory ended when the #45 protype’s left-rear wheel made a bid for freedom at the 11th hour, with Colin Braun, George Kurtz Racing and Nick Catsburg running fourth in class.

🔴 RLR Msport classified ninth in a severely truncated Michelin Le Mans Cup 'Road to Le Mans' race (Thursday 13 June) 🇫🇷

The action commenced after an extra formation lap and, having survived a busy start, Garth Walden made an instant impact by rising from 14th to ninth on his first and only green-flag tour of Circuit de la Sarthe.

Incidents led to a Safety Car and RLR was one of many teams to perform its mandatory pit stop during the stoppage, switching Walden for Ian Aguilera, who was 13th in the queue but steamed by four cars into P9 before the race was red-flagged once and for all.

INTRODUCING Garth Walden, who answered a lastminute call to fly halfway around the world from Sydney to Le Mans to partner RLR Msport’s Ligier European Series regular Ian Aguilera in the 2024 Michelin Le Mans Cup ‘Road to Le Mans’.

Garth is the founder of the GWR Australia race team and he brings over 25 years of motorsport experience as a manager, mechanic and competitor in categories like Aussie V8 Supercars Fanatec GT World Challenge Australia
and the Asian Le Mans Series - Official.

It all starts on Wednesday (12 June), when Garth and Ian take the #5 Ligier JSP320 LMP3 out into Free Practice, in support of the 92nd 24 Heures du Mans. Welcome aboard, Garth!

🏁 RLR Msport will start the Ligier European Series Le Mans Heat from P4 on the grid after Ian Aguilera registered a 4m09.309s in the quickfire Qualifying Practice session 🇫🇷

RLR and Aguilera headed into the 20-minute qualifier as the fourth fastest team-driver combination, a 4m11.092s their best Free Practice time, but, while the young Mexican significantly upped the pace, he ultimately locked in a spot on row two of the grid for the sole hour-long Ligier race at Circuit de la Sarthe.
