Solripe Soft Drinks. November 1980. Murraypark Hotel, Crieff.
In picture is Hugh and Eleanor McOmish, Eleanor's parents Mr and Mrs Robertson Bert was the Boss at Crieff lemonade works in Leadenflower.
In 1975 Crieff Lemonade was taken over by Solripe.
(Dunn and Moore) on left is Paul Dunn of Dunn and Moore lemonade (Glasgow) and the man with red hankerchief in pocket is George Longmuir, Solripe manager from Edinburgh. He was an uncle of the Bay City Rollers longmuir band members.

My Grandfather's brother Sandy Comrie (Black Watch) and his nephew Lance Corporal John Comrie Blair, ( 7th/10th Btn Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders), they both served in North Africa in WW2, as part of the 51st Highland Division, photo of them together was taken in Tobruk, North Africa 1942.
John Comrie Blair was killed in action on 20th March 1943 aged 21. He was the son of Duncan and Jessie Blair, Crieff.
Remembered with honour MEDJEZ -EL-BAB MEMORIAL. Tunisia.
