Do you find yourself down a path where you're going to the vet over and over for the same problem?

Here's the thing.

Many times the problem has been missed that caused the symptom that you're treating.

We're treating the wrong thing and that's why it never goes away.

For example, allergies.

If you keep putting food in your pet that causes inflammation, they will never heal completely.

If we're just treating the itch but not focusing on the cause of why it's happening, the itch will always return when the meds run out.

Conventional medicine is symptom care medicine, and it has a time and place for acute care. It truly is needed to help your pet feel better, but it fails in the long-term for fixing disease.

We have to start asking why something is happening and look at how to resolve the root issue.

This may involve a multi-modal approach with nutrition, herbs, and maybe even drugs, but it should be individualized for each pet.

Is your pet itchy?

I have a few go-to's that I recommend for pet parents to have on hand for itchy pets so that you can hopefully prevent those hot spots from getting bad, reduce inflammation, avoid medications all while you're working on the root cause of the allergies.

You still need some natural treatments to help support your pet in the short term, because many times diet, herbs, and acupuncture will take longer to work.

A spray that I recommend for your pets is from Mountain Rose Herbs and combines different anti-inflammatory and anti-pruritic herbs.

Get it here: https://bit.ly/3bSTar6 (they also have a cat formula!).

Also, if you're a DIYer like me, you can make your own skin spray recipe using green tea, colloidal silver, and a few essential oils.

Here's an Itchy Pet Spray Recipe:
✔️4 oz brewed, cooled green tea
✔️1 tbsp colloidal silver
✔️4 drops lavender essential oil
✔️2 drops copaiba essential oil

Mix together and spray on affected skin one to two times a day.
