The special 10th Anniversary "best ever" Event Photography Awards culminated at the newly renovated Skinners Hall, now rebranded 8½ London, which played host to award-winning images from the past ten editions, superbly printed by Visions who were also responsible for the impressive event production.

To celebrate its 10th Anniversary, the Event Photography Awards organised a special "Best ever" contest, judged through an online system.

Ten local authorities have taken part in a Green Events Code of Practice (GECoP) pilot, and now the findings from that pilot have been published.

Key findings from the pilot include:

🌍 60 per cent of event organisers implemented new environmental measures as a direct result of the pilot

✅ 92 per cent expressed a commitment to adopt even more sustainable practices in the coming year

🌳 Seven out of ten participating local authorities made changes to policy or procedures for more robust environmental requirements

Planning consultant Firstplan has helped LaplandUK secure planning permission for a second site in the north of England.

Cheshire East Council’s planning committee voted 8-2 in favour of LaplandUK's application, giving LaplandManchester the green light to open at Capesthorne Hall this year.

To support LaplandUK’s growth, the organisation recently appointed Dan Filmer as director of live shows, Gabrielle Williams as event director and Samuel Watkins as head of productions.
