To all my friends and family that are not in the live events industry;
I know most of you are not even sure what I do, where I go when I am away or how I make a living.
But today I am asking you for your help. To help to support not just me but everyone who I share my work with, everyone who I share my career with and everyone who I share my business with.
The live events industry is now collapsing, falling in, it is not on the brink of collapsing, that was last month, it is collapsing right now, right in front of our eyes.
You may feel this does not affect you; but, every time you see a show in a theatre or go to a trade show; every time you watch a live band or attend a conference for work; every time you watch the latest product launched or enjoy sporting events and many many more times you come together with friends, family and colleagues.
Somewhere in the background will be teams of people and suppliers from all over the events industry to make sure you have the best of times.
Today the 11th August 2020 the live events industries are standing together to raise awareness of the desperate situation we are in.
We will be lighting many buildings red along with various other events.
Please repost and share as many 'Light it Red' and 'We make events' posts as you can. Make as many people as you can aware of the situation.
Please support us and help our voice to be heard so we can start doing what we do best, bringing laughter, information and music to you all.
