Hi all I wasnt going to post anything and just leave things where they are but out of respect and courtesy to people who may have followed my musical journey since the very tentative days of the mid 70s right up to recently i thought i need to put you in the picture. As you may have known ill health has come between me and a longer career as a pro dj, in this instance the loss of my remaining leg in nov. It had been a strain with one but now both have gone ive made the decision to quit anything live. I know im not on my own with this disability but finding it difficult to process it in a way to continue on. In respect of my successful nights @ the hare & hounds in sunbury over the last 11 years or so with "funkin Friday's " i have somewhat reluctantly handed the baton on to another soul promotion company to carry on where i left off. That will resume end of jan .. i'd very much like to thank everyone whose supported these and other nights ive played at over the last 40 + years.. a few to mention mark easterbrook Jim Walden steve ball Jeannette Willis Peter Nicholls dancing Tony selecter Stevo, Bad Barry Rebel Original plus the crew from Slough, wayne for the transport James Alway the family foulis, jenny & dale sean & deb french Tommo Dave David Miah Cheryl Robin Jeffrey Debra Field & Shane Walls ...Roger the dancer ..the list is endless. Ive had a bloody good run at it but now is the time for me to bow out
Thanks again for all your support its been a blast. Please continue to make the new soul nights at the hare as a date for your diary. Once im back in the land of the living my radio shows for LMR & Roots Locker will continue. As delboy put it .. Terry Peters Discotheques has ceased trading ... bonjour
