I have a few releases now available on www.thehardstore.com .

We've got releases from Detest, Hellfish & Akira, Crippled Bi***es, and The Collector.

"The Collector" has put together an amazing EP for his debut. A varied styles EP from Jungle to Industrial Hardcore Techno. Fans of The Mover / P*P will also love one of the tracks on the EP. It's a great release that covers the wide range of styles "The Collector" has been buying from Underground Music over the last 25+ years. He's done a really good job here so go and show some support for "Danger W**k Records! Limited red vinyl.

Continuing in a similarly childish manner we have the brutal "F**k Neopyhte" from Crippled Bi***es. Taking aim at one of the scenes top artists Crippled bi***es savagely disses Neoplyte to hilarious effect. The limited 7" vinyl also contains a CD with a music video so obscene even Pornhub refused to host it! Also a superb sticker sheet to spice up your original gabber records with. Very limited 7" on coloured vinyl!

Next up Detest hits us with his latest offering on Hong Kong Violence. Productions values are on another level as Detest pushes his sound further on each release he does. Detest is a proper legend of the scene and when he's backed up by Drokz for the track "Beer Pressure" you know you're in for a treat. A superb remix by Deathmachine of the track The Hunter finishes off this 3 track EP. Ltd Edition on Black vinyl with neon flecks.

Last up we have the latest release on the new label from Hellfish & Akira called "Fish Rice Recordings". These guys knock it out of the park again with 2 tracks of straight up hardcore for all you uptempians out there. Black vinyl with a bit of gold in for good luck!

The A/B/C sides are from the original masters and the D side has been lovingly restored using audio restoration tools. The amazing vinyl mastering was done by Shane The Cutter @ Finyl Tweek.

As you have been warned about the D side they'll be no complaints followed by quickly ripping the audio and returning the item, demanding a refund, then putting out your own digital copies of these tracks like some tw@ who thought that would be acceptable did with a previous release!

All other complaints about killing scenes, quick bucks, devaluing originals can be sent to [email protected] .

Another release rescued from the dark depths of jungle history. To say this has been a bloody big effort is understatement! The trouble with all these old Jungle records is everybody who owned a copy purchased it to play, not hoard it for future sale. The few copies that have made it for sale vary in quality from G+ - to VG+ and fetch a hefty price on Disocgs in the rare cases somebody parts with a copy.

So when we finally managed to source a nice clean audio file we jumped at the chance. Hours, days, weeks, went by staring into the abyss of audio restoration tools to finally get a worthy master to hand over to Bob Mac to do his final mastering magic. Topped of with vinyl mastering by Shane The Cutter @ Finyl Tweek we're proper happy with this classic re-issue.

Furthermore it represents a £131.00 saving over the next nearest copy for sale right now on Discogs! ;)

THE CRIMINAL MINDS - Guilty As Charged, by The Criminal Minds (TCM)

The 1st 12" vinyl released by The Criminal Minds back in 1990. Produced and recorded in Spatts bedroom back in 1990 this was one of the rarest Hip Hop 12" releases in the history of UK Hip Hop. Only 500 copies produced back in 1990 and remains one of the most expensive and hard to find records of the era.

We used the same masters that Rephlex used for their "The Criminal Minds ‎– T.C.M" reissue back in 2011. The source is unknown. Probably NOT from the DATs. The DATSs were passed over for mastering 26 years ago and probably never claimed back from the mastering studio. However we have not scrimped on getting these tracks sounding a great as possible. Knowing these tracks were made on Spatt's bedroom floor in his mum and dads house we think they sound amazing still.

A VG+ copy recently sold on Discogs for £170.00 so if you're up for waiting they'll be another along for similar money soon. If you don't like represses because we're "Killing the scene in my opinion reproducing timeless classics for a quick buck sticking your fingers up at all those that were there back in the day buying the originals." as some fu***it recently chimed in with..... then get your fat wallet out wait for another to pop up!

Dusty Angel - Metallic #1, by Dusty Angel

One of the rarest records from the "P*P" stable that never got released. Only 25 test pressings of this record were ever made back in 1993. This could easily have been the 5th vinyl in the "100% Acidiferous" series but instead these tracks were licensed by "P*P UK" back in 1993. Sadly the project never came to fruition. From the original digital masters these 2 tracks still sound incredible nearly 23 years on.

Tales From The Wasteland, by The Criminal Minds

Back in the early 90's a crew from Buckinghamshire released some of their bedroom made Hip Hop on 12". 300 copies were pressed and sold and became part of Hip Hop history. Produced on the floor of Spatts bedroom! The DAT masters have been long lost having been passed over the the vinyl cut and never claimed back.

This EP has been ripped from the cleanest copy TCM could find. It was a hard job to restore the tracks to the usual high standard we have. These tracks were made using samples from records that already has a lot of surface noise and crackle. Sampled direct from a 1210 for use in the tracks that were recorded to a 4 track cassette deck. It was a hard job to find a nice compromise between killing the feeling and soul in these tracks for the sake of a bit of surface noise! Like John Peel said.. 'Listen, mate, *life* has surface noise."

There is always a VG+ copy of the original on Discogs for £120.00!

The rarest of the rare P*P vinyl. Released back in the 90's as a promo only. Only 25 copies were ever available of this 10" classic by Dusty Angel. The new vinyl will be available on its own on September. But for now you can buy the bundle of the 10" Metallic coloured vinyl + T-shirt. Including a "Metallic" decal only with this limited bundle.

Originally scheduled for release back in the nineties. This EP differs from the Shadowcast Recordings release bearing the same title. It contains 2 tracks that were only ever on the Darkage white labels. Only a handful of white labels were ever made of this release back in 1996. It has been remastered from the original DAT which was unearthed in a pile of tapes from Mo's Music. Mastering from Shane The Cutter. I am so impressed how incredible these tracks sound 20 years on. 4 stunning tracks from the Healy brothers.

Back in the early 90's I visited Mo's Music Machine every week to buy new records for UM. As well as picking up the latest Industrial Strength records to sell, I hit up the guys in the sales room to pull me out a bunch of best breakbeat hardcore records of which I had very little knowledge being immersed in distorted kick drums for the most part. One of the labels that really stood out for me was White House Records. With releases like Phrenetic – Liquid Sky EP, Skanna - Intimidator, and a bunch by Bay B Kane & Bizzy B that were all killer releases too it became a "buy on sight" label. Now nearly 23 years on I am on a mission, with the help of Robin from Stay On Target, to get some of these sought after classics reissued. There are a few in production at the moment and the house sleeves and the Survival Techniques 2x12" sleeves just arrived and they are looking great. Can't wait to put some vinyl in them.
