When I started asking for charities to help, I wanted something that resonated with me on some level. I can honestly see the benefit of this set up even through the bittersweetness.

Claire set up a community group for those affected by cancer after being diagnosed herself. The group has been running for a nearly 2 years and brings something positive to each of the group's lives. I really enjoyed being a part of that last night and looking forward to attending over next few weeks to contribute to their 'Our Year 2024' exhibition in Wakefield.

Atlas, named after a titan, signifying strength and endurance, had his christening yesterday! Such a smiley little boy for everyone 🥰 It was nice to photograph something different and looking forward to getting the rest of the photographs done for Lisa and Ian.

A stunning church wedding for Nikole and J***y - such a fun loving couple and both looked absolutely amazing! The day began with photographing the groom and best man getting ready at home followed by a walk to All Saint's Church with some of the wedding party.

Awaiting Nik and the bridesmaids I was able to capture the beautiful church whilst J***y nervously waited. Nik arrived with her mum and bridesmaids (who later insisted I stayed to get drunk with them and encouraged me to get lifted up like a crowd-surfer...) and they all looked the part - personalised converse and all.

The sun shone for the whole day and Bradley Hall Golf Club was the perfect end to your perfect day. Thank you for letting me be a part of it. I am glad you love your photos 🥰

What a beaut evening coming home from work. I have been thinking of getting some drone footage over Dean Clough with the sunset for some time, and it seemed perfect for it tonight.

Quite enjoyed the challenge of working with blown out highlights and tried some HDR shots but this shot was taken to the perfect exposure to bring out details in both using a RAW format using Lightroom.

I got some funny looks in LIDLs carpark though... 🫠🌞

It's been a while 👋🏻

Thought I'd pop a post on as my feed is all work but no personality 🥴. I've had a few new followers since the beginning last November so here's a bit of an update of where I'm at since the launch of my photography business.

Nobody explains how many hats you have to put on when building a business so hats off to those who make it work whilst juggling another job! So far I've been a photographer, social media content creator, project manager, accountant, editor, customer service representative and more. It's so much more than carrying a camera and pressing a button!

So far I've focussed on family portraits, maternity shoots, weddings and events. I wanted to try a bit of everything to see what I prefer but keeping very open minded for the time being whilst I'm getting the experience.

After June I will be focusing on how to market my business, actually build a website and organise a social media calendar. I will be out of action photographing all of you lovely people due to an op on my foot however it may give me the kick up the behind to get the behind the scenes bits sorted, as it's a very overwhelming minefield!

Thanks to all clients who have booked me to photograph their weddings, families, events, bumps, pets and everything in-between. It's made the world of difference for my confidence and given me back my passion for photography. I'm looking forward to getting more creative and learning more in this seemingly unnavigable world 📸🖤
