Attended the launch of FACT Liverpool’s winter season last night, which sees the worlds of artists Danielle Brathwaite-Shirley and Josèfa Ntjam collide in a free immersive exhibition. Titled ‘uMoya: The Sacred Return of Lost Things’, next year's festival explores the ways in which people and objects have the potential to manifest power as they move across the world, while acknowledging the continued losses of the past. ⁠

In the isiZulu language, ‘uMoya’ means spirit, breath, air, climate and wind. ‘uMoya: The Sacred Return of Lost Things’ addresses the history and temperament of the city of Liverpool.

New commissions and existing artworks will be unveiled across the city from 10 June – 17 September.
⁠
More than 30 artists and collectives will respond to the theme of the 12th edition, curated by Khanyisile Mbongwa.

It's been a fab week with Myfishgy at Grimsby Minster. Today's the final day to come down to the Minster to see the stunning Virtual Fish Tank, design a fish and see it swimming live in the tank. Even more exciting, every single fish is going to be part of a massive grand finale, projected all over Grimsby town centre in February half term 2023.
