Hello! Not often I update this page but... must try harder! :-)
I was hired as Photographer to cover a 'star-studded' 30th birthday fancy dress party at Hockley Community Centre. What a turnout with so many original costumes and detailed makeup.
I offer the photography alongside the DJ services. Being a one man band it can get pretty hectic covering both roles but I enjoy working under pressure,
My Photography package includes unlimited photos all night supplied in high quality on a Weblink which can be, in turn, shared with all of your guests. There's no watermarking, or 'silly' hidden extras or catches. You get all the photos, simples!
With Photo Booth or Magic Mirror hire prices between £300 and £500 I can save you loads of dosh!! However it doesn't stop you making a photo area with a backdrop, and a few props like masks, hats, musical instruments or masks. So when you ask me for a DJ quote, be sure to also request one for photos!
I'm no professional, but customers tell me they love the results. I'm also the only DJ so far as I'm aware who offers such a service, and for the prices I charge you get a super deal!

Bride let down by band - cancelled 24 hours before her big day!
Fortunately I was free to save their evening! Guests danced all night at The Reid Rooms Chelmsford, and the Bride and Groom managed to get some - but not all of their non returnable deposit back from the agent. Poor show i felt, not in the spirit of things, as the band had Covid and she had frail guests.
Anyway congratulations Hannah and Adrian Craig, and thanks for entrusting your evening entertainment with me!

Last night I performed at Red Brick Barn, Sutton Hall in Rochford. It's a very photogenic place for a wedding with plenty of open brickwork and rustic oak beams. Friends and relatives helped decorate and accessorise the room - it looked splendid!
The happy couple had such an amazing day. Their playlist was in excess of 120 favorite tunes but I managed to play 90% of them. They were particularly delighted with the 'Pink Toothbrush' style Indie set which had their guests fill the floor! Lots of 'Hands in the air' tracks!

To cheer people up over this difficult time I've been offering FREE 'social distancing' Street Parties. The reaction has been brilliant with smiles returned and something for people to look forward to.
Just received a lovely letter from Natalie Pope after I played the music at her daughter's 8th birthday. We all had fun in the front garden and neighbors and friends joined in at a distance.

I just want to give a shout out and a massive THANK YOU to Geoff Grove Entertainment. I contact Geoff as it's my daughters 8th birthday today, Geoff came and done a social distance disco for her with just neighbours and family. We all had a great time and Geoff made my daughter feel so special even in the current situation. Geoff even took the time to mention and involve my son (his just 2) too and play his all time favourite song (baby shark).
Amazing afternoon had by all.
Geoff is very professional in his job and always had a smile on his face the whole time he was here (3 hours).

Apton Hall Wedding Venue near Canewdon. My first visit - DJing at an Indian wedding.
I can play any music at your function - even if you want Bhangra all night! Total flexibility!
Apton Hall really is a special venue. It's extremely photogenic, well finished and decorated to a high standard in 'Farrow and Ball' colours, with contrasting open red brickwork. Lovely courtyard and great layout of main building. Staff are very friendly. You really must go see it!

Wedding Place Name great ideas
While DJing at Layer Marney Towers I saw something unusual and fun. For the place names at the Wedding Breakfast, the couple used photos of all their guests which they painstakingly and covertley collected from Facebook. They printed the photos (without names) and placed around the tables. It caused a lot of laughter – not least as some of the photos were not perhaps that flattering, or showed funny or old pictures of guests.
At Liz Nash's wedding at Finsbury Town Hall she made the place names from bars of Dairy Milk Chocolate. The wrappers were personalized with each guest name. They even made one with my name on it! The Top Table had the larger bars. Fortunately they knew I was a chocoholic and looked after me very well :-)
When I have a night off, this is my passion. Partaaay hard ! :-)

Wife Elaine threw a surprise party for Alan on his 60th, at the Windmill Pub Upminster. Photos from the night can be viewed here. I performed along side Old Hat Duo Will and Mike.
As a package, the entertainment worked so well, and my ability to shoot the whole evening so that Elaine and Alan had a permanent record of the whole fantastic night proved priceless.
