🌍✨ Championing Women’s Rights on the Global Stage ✨🌍

We were truly honoured to speak with the inspiring Ruth Healey, President of Soroptimist International Great Britain and Ireland (SIGBI), about their powerful advocacy for women and girls. 💙

As issues surrounding women’s rights and violence against women and girls (VAWG) take centre stage worldwide, SIGBI is making sure women’s voices are heard where it matters most. This month, they headed to New York to join the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), pushing for urgent action and policy change. 💪🏾✨

We also took part in their regional meeting this past weekend, where members came together to discuss key priorities, share insights, and strengthen their mission for gender equality. A powerful reminder that change starts within our communities and grows to the world stage! 🌟

“A Brush with the Past” - A new exhibition exploring Wimbledon Common through artists past and present.

has collaborated with to bring this unique exhibition in which ten contemporary artists have each drawn inspiration from a work of art in the museum’s collection. The work reinterprets the perspectives of intriguing figures such as Belgian refugee and anarchist Aloïs de Laet, suffragette Hilda Bather, and renowned stained glass designer Hugh Arnold. 🎨🖌️

Súper Chefs - an immersive and interactive Latin American musical cooking show playing several dates across London in October and November.

Súper Chefs follows the story of six-year-old Manny as he prepares a welcome-home meal for his dad with the help of his mother, grandmother, and superhero sidekick. Along the way, the show challenges stereotypes around gender roles in the kitchen and celebrates the importance of family, teamwork, and cultural heritage. With real cooking happening live on stage, audiences will get to help Manny prepare authentic Latin American dishes like Colombian arepas and Mexican guacamole.

This delightful, bilingual show brings joy to children aged 4-8 and their families with its unique blend of food, music, and an authentic portrayal of Latine culture. Audiences will be introduced to the richness of Spanglish, Latin rhythm and the significance of food in family life.
