Like all of the country we are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Her Majesty The Queen and sen our heartfelt condolences to her family at this time.

We were overwhelmed by the love and support by all winners and finalists for each other and the whole awards community and feel this is a true representation of the wonderful hair and beauty industry.

Despite some issues with scammers spamming the comments (we should be turning commenting back on soon). We are so thankful for your support and understanding and most importantly for not letting it ruin your night, we hope!

You will be receiving physical certificates in the post. These are all created bespoke for each winner and finalist and come signed and sealed. Due to this they can take up to four weeks. Normally it is quicker than this and it does include postal times but as you are all aware and probably fed up of hearing covid-19 is causing some delays with post. Keep your eyes on our pages for updates of when certificates are posted etc.

We do also have trophies etc. As normal we will be releasing more information about these shortly (we’re still making sure all issues with scammers are rectified etc before doing this). We also have the option of e-certificates (these can be sent after all physical ones are posted). While they will not have the seal or signature the rest of the certificate will look pretty much the same. We’ll be posting a place where you can register for these probably by next week. We’ll also post a place for you to update any addresses if you would rather certificates come to a home address. They will currently be sent to the details we hold on file.

Once again we want to thank you for your continued support throughout this difficult time but most importantly we want to congratulate all our finalists and winners for continuing to help the national look and feel fabulous especially at a time when mental health and people’s wellbeing has been so tested.

You really are all winners!

The news many have been waiting for - salons and spas in England can reopen from Monday, July 13.

We are so excited for you 😍

There will be some restrictions on services.

The NHBF, Babtac and British Beauty Council released a joint statement shortly after the broadcast, stating that the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has said that "no treatments on the face will be permitted".
This includes, but is not limited to:
Face waxing, sugaring or threading services
Facial treatments
Advanced facial technical (electrical or mechanical)
Eyelash treatments
Make-up application
Dermarolling
Dermaplaning
Microblading
Electrolysis on the face
Eyebrow treatments

For our Mua, lash & brow technicians, and advanced facial therapists that specialise in those treatments we will continue to push for a date and hope the restriction gets lifted soon for you 💜

Think Expose stand and make a united call with Top Rated Salons and Spas, Our awards and our industry that , and ask the Government to provide a definitive date for when beauty salons, tanning salons, make up artists, mobile therapists, spas and wellness can reopen.

There are 3 ways to get involved to help make sure our industry is heard...

1. Share photos and videos on social media of how your beauty salon, nail bar or home-based business will be safe on reopening. These photos and videos can be walkthroughs of your salon showcasing the changes you’ve made in terms of PPE, social distancing, etc. Remember to include the hashtag and tag your local MP.

2. Share this graphic on your social media channels with explaining how you’ve made your salon safe for reopening.

3. Write or email your local MP asking for clarity on when beauty salons will be able to reopen and explain the measures you’ve put in place to make your business safe.
