Ha, ha! I received the funniest email from a reader. She said
"Dear Lynn Brittney, I have discovered a downside to your wonderful book Gifts From Your Garden. I bought it last year and made practically everything in the book with my garden produce -food, beauty aids, decorations and so on. The trouble is that when I went to a neighbour's garden party, the fruit fritters and the vegetable crisps I made were so popular that people keep asking me to make more and bring them to all sorts of occasions - WI meetings, Parish Council meetings, parties etc. and frankly I'm getting bored with making them! Apart from that, I cannot praise the book too much. It's an ingenious bible for using up all your garden's fruit, veg, nuts, seeds, wood etc. I wouldn't be without it."
