So our good friend and musical legend Wanz Dover - aka Blixaboy/Jack Dover/The Black Dotz - has been in the wars lately. As far as we know, following an accident at a gig, Wanz's health took a serious turn for the worse and he needed emergency surgery to save his life. Thankfully he is now out of the ICU and is recovering in hospital, albeit too slowly for his own liking. He is now faced with the uphill struggle of paying his medical expenses and an extended period of not being well enough to work - and without expensive insurance in the US, that's not good. If you have ever liked his music or just want to help out a genuinely nice guy you can send some bucks his way here:

Fun Fun - Happy Station

Italo was already big in The Hague and High Fashion Music was catering to it.
Made as part of Italomix 1 for Frits van Swoll this track kind of introduced the rest of Holland to Italo.
Whilst the girls were already on their flight to Holland for an appearance onTop Pop, Frits asked me to do a single edit for radio.
That was the version the girls had to sing along to. With all those crazy edits and no time to practice.
It went to gold status, so they forgave me in the end. :)

The scratch sounds were made with a Korg MS10 synthesizer.
No vinyl or record players were harmed during the making of this mix.
