In moments when the world feels bare,
Like branches stripped by winter's air,
Look closer at the quiet space—
Where beauty finds its resting place.

For even in the coldest grey,
Small treasures dot our weathered way,
Like berries bright against the snow,
Some joy will always choose to grow.

Perhaps we're like these winter trees,
Not barren, but in gentle ease,
Still holding gifts we can't yet see,
Until time sets their magic free.

When darkness wraps around your soul,

✍️ A little Christmas tale for my fellow writers.

There was once a struggling writer who at last found a publisher. He managed to produce a series of modestly successful novels. However, his sales soon started to decline and his publishers threatened to drop him. He decided to try one last throw of the dice and wrote a novella in six weeks.
It became one of the most famous and popular stories in the English language. The author was Charles Dickens. The book was ‘A Christmas Carol’.

Although life may have got in the way with one of us having a having a baby and the other moving to Scotland, ‘The Twizzlers’ were never forgotten. Our lovely characters found new and exciting adventures with many fabulous illustrations to show how they all arrived at Frozen Pond.
