Simply overjoyed that dear chums are FINALLY emerging from their primordial swamp with a debut album that must be heard to be believed!!! Fun's Over is out via us with a delicious set up, and stacks of instores at and in March '25 (far away you cry, but it'll come round so soon we promise)

Hastily snap yourself one up from your favourite record shop (ltd to 400 with exquisite signed lino print, mask and galaxy vinyl) or grab a standard red edition, CD or test pressing from our store - Showcasing whip-smart spikiness remains, and a gorgeous weirdness matched by very few others, it's easy to see why wonk pop 7-piece KEG are one of the most talked about bands of 2024. Soon they'll be THE band of 2025.

Put short - it sounds bloody wonderful

Blimey!!! win album of the year at the Northern Irish Music Prize. If you've not listened yet, take this as a solid gold reminder that you really, REALLY must 😍😍😍

Hit after HIT... "An eardrum-battering offering, brimming with primal riffs and lyrics that deserve to be inscribed on schoolbags, toilet walls and body parts, Blouse Club is a thrilling listen. Calling to mind the likes of Crass, Huggy Bear and War On Women, the record electrifies over the course of 12 cathartic tracks." -

From the very first moment I heard breakout single Jasper on Lammo's show, I was blown away - and they pretty much instantly became my favourite band of the year! It was just this feelgood instant fuzzy slacker indie smash hit that bounced about for months, pirouetting round my cerebellum like a wistful stroll through the beautiful autumn leaves of Crosby.

Imagine my unimaginable delight when a few years later HTC happened upon our inbox with a collection of demos that sounded even better. Led by new single Born, Died! Out today.

Could not be happier to be working with Hooton Tennis Club, and we're monumentally excited for you to hear these songs, and hang out with them on the road actually - because they appear to be the nicest people as well.

Some bands have it all

Iconic fu***ng punk legends of all things that are ace in the world are back - with this absolute next level concept...

To celebrate the first anniversary of the release of Northern Irish Music Prize nominated album of the year, Blouse Club, Problem Patterns have crafted this glorious follow up, Blouse Clubland, with a little help from their friends!

An eclectic mix of melody, mash ups and mayhem, this exquisite record sees the Belfast punk icons come together with a boatload of their finest friends, collaborators and fellow musicians to re-work the original tracks into a sublime new listening experience. It's Problem Patterns, but not like you've ever heard them before.

First taster cut from the record is an outrageously good dance-infused combo with which will blow your FACE off - and there are pink tapes and collab shirts with (AKA the best merch we've ever made). You need more info. We get that. Head to our site for all the red hot deets.

Thanks to everyone involved for making this such a joy so far, especially Best Before Records for allowing us the keys to the cupboard

Could not love this band any more 👻👻👻👻

"It took us about a year to work out the shape and palette for this record; Actual love and giddy optimism not exactly being traditional anchors for Johnny Foreigner. One of the defining moments was a 3am conversation with someone I'm not 100% sure was a regular mortal human, in a hotel smoking area coincidentally (magic) a few minutes walk from JT Soars where we'd start recording it.

This is that story, neatly ghost-trapped in a 2.45 guitar pop song. Not sure if the title references them, or us, or my partner, or is just our final evolution of casually stealing from the late great Urusei Yatsura. Either way, it's an immense pleasure to just shout joyous shouts into the void."

There’s something so special about and this has to be one of their most glorious releases yet. A smoky brown cassette with an eclectic mix of covers from American doom metal band Pentagram, country star Porter Wagoner, jazz great Chet Baker, and the Velvet Underground’s John Cale.

“Over the last couple years we’ve recorded more demos than we ever used to,” explains Bell. “I was carting around my whole recording rig to band practice or wherever we’d set up to play for most of 2022, just to try and better my recording skills. Covers have always been good for that. If I’m feeling rusty with songwriting I focus on the recording side of things and just put down covers as a way to try and break out of a creative slump. These covers are kind of a documentation of that. They were all recorded in different houses with my portable rig which is just a couple preamps and a Tascam 58 8-track tape machine.”

Get it in your ears, you could listen to this all day. Available on digital with the last few tapes available now and they look GORGEOUS!!!!!! Perhaps nearly as good as they sound… Maybe? 🧐

Link in bio. Sounds on casette.

ICYMI yesterday, the new single 'Antagonistic' is HUGE! And, as ever with TMC, looking at deeply important issues. We could bang on about how much you should stream it etc, but probably best Emilia tells you all about it ...

"Working in the homelessness sector is a difficult job at the best of times, with the lack of support from the government, the lack of housing options for homeless people, the cost of living crisis, and the consistent underfunding across the sector. But during COVID each difficulty was vastly intensified. I didn’t know if the people I supported were going to die. I didn’t know if me and my colleagues were going to die.

I remember clearly, during a work meeting, a senior staff member talking about a lovely evening drinking red wine on their balcony whilst in a discussion with us frontline workers about a young mother, living in temporary accommodation, whose boiler had broken. This senior staff member didn’t class having any hot water or heating as an emergency, whilst there was an ongoing pandemic where cleanliness and washing your hands were key messages to stopping infection.

To me, this interaction summed up the stark contrast of people’s lives during COVID, the value of work, the virtue signalling of clapping for key workers and the dark depths of capitalism within the backdrop of a pandemic. This song is me trying to process and come to terms with the anger and trauma I experienced working through COVID and how this has shaped me as a person and as a support worker...”
