First met MP in the Film Exchange back in the early 80’s before I started in TV and was surprised how approachable he was compared with many of the TV personalities that frequented the place. Years later I worked with him on a number of occasions and was impressed that he remembered me. A thoroughly nice man and probably the best interviewer ever. RIP.
