First 48hrs in Ubud 🫶🏽❤️

This place has changed SO MUCH since we first came here SEVEN years ago 🥲

Even though it’s way more developed, it’s still the perfect place to find peace and reconnect with nature🥰🙏🏽

The dreamiest stay boutique hotel by 🥹🩷

We knew we had to stay here for at least 1 night while visiting Bali and now we don’t want to leave! 🥲

The most Zen place we have found so far in Bali 🫶🏽

Happy 29 years around the sun _ 🌞🥳🎂 From celebrating your 28th in the Amalfi Coast to París, Amsterdam, and Iceland, all the way to Dubai, Thailand, Maldives, Milan and Greece 🌍 and now onto the next ✈️🇫🇷

Phuket photo dump 😍

Thailand was the second place we visited after Dubai - we spent almost two months here and loved every minute of it 🥰

👉🏽 Phuket is such a good place to work remotely and there are so many serviced apartments that have attracted this crowd and it’s ofc a lot cheaper than staying in Europe long-term!

👉🏽 We stayed at CityGate Kamala for around £1,400 pcm, which was full of people from around the world building their businesses and working remotely. It has 3 pools, a gym (although not great air-con 😅), rooftop bar, and our favourite thing was the café downstairs which served fresh pressed fruit juices 🥤

👉🏽 Kamala is a really good location with a nice beach & cool beach bars 🍊

👉🏽 Café del Mar is about a 5 minute walk from CityGate and is one of the best places to catch the sunset! 🌅

👉🏽 It’s only a 15 mins drive from Patong beach and about 20 mins drive from Kata and Karon beach 🏝️

🌻 This is about all the colour that we got to see 😅 But as you can see from here, they are likely really vibrant in the height of season 😉

The first walk in nature we went on was to the 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗼ē𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁!

We drove through really windy roads until we were literally above the clouds! 😍 before heading down the other side of the mountain and back into the clouds to Ribeiro Frio! 🤣

This is where the 𝐏𝐑1 walk starts! It takes approx. 20-30 minutes to reach the observatory deck (featured) and the same back down! It's definitely accessible for most as the path is pretty flat the entire way and it’s not a challenging walk at all...bring your waterproofs though because you're at such altitude that its wet in the air and there's a high chance of rain!! 😅

At most times, there are these type of railings but at some points there are just no railings! But at all times there's a 𝗛𝗨𝗚𝗘 drop on one or both sides 😅😂

I actually don't like heights so much so this was definitely a test for me and pushing outside my comfort zone! My heart was racing and legs shaking the entire way!! 😂 It doesn't help that I tripped and stumbled about 5x which made Brett really nervous 😅😂 I always trip up steps and if there's one place you don't want to be doing that, it's here!! 😆

When is the last time you 𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐳𝐨𝐧𝐞? What was it you did? 🤭

You can drive to the 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗶𝗿𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 where you are literally 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐬 at 1,818m!! 😍

Many people just enjoy the view from here, but if you want to see the 𝒮𝓉𝒶𝒾𝓇𝓌𝒶𝓎 𝓉𝑜 𝐻𝑒𝒶𝓋𝑒𝓃 then you have to go on a pretty daring walk along the mountain for approx. 25 minutes (don't rush this!!) 😅

Ok now THIS was the scariest path we've walked along!! 😅 One of the highest peaks in Madeira - Pico do Areeiro! Definitely not for the faint hearted 😅

Miradouro das Neves - pretty cool viewpoint over Funchal! We were driving up and down for ages trying to find this spot 😅 Then Brett needed a break from driving so we pulled in somewhere for a pit stop, which turned out to be the exact spot we were looking for!! 😂 Life has a funny way of bringing things together ☺💫

To reach Belém Tower, we scooted all the way from our hotel and it took us about 45 minutes in the red hot sunshine but it was literally the best experience 🤣 Such a good way to feel so free!! 🐬 It cost around 25 euros and because it turned dark when we were heading back we took the bus which cost just 2 euros each for a 30 minute journey 😂 So depending on your budge, time and energy, you could do either!! But we think you should take the scooter 😋😉🤭

🚠💕 We paid just 16 Euros each for a round-trip up to 𝑀𝑜𝓃𝓉𝑒 𝒫𝒶𝓁𝒶𝒸𝑒 𝒯𝓇𝑜𝓅𝒾𝒸𝒶𝓁 𝒢𝒶𝓇𝒹𝑒𝓃𝓈!

It's 20 minutes up and 20 minutes back down! But you can stop at the top to have a stroll around the gardens before heading back down 🌺🌻🏵

🚠 Riding the cable car in Funchal!

You can see out over the ocean (the view behind us 😉) and across Funchal City Centre on the way down and over the tops of the trees the way up! 🤗

There are SO MANY tunnels on this island! 😅 Some of the roads aren't for the faint-hearted but because its mostly well-connected by tunnels, you can still explore lots without going on the winding roads! Buuuuuuut, if you want to see the best viewpoints, you'll have to be brave and get on the windy cliff-edge roads 😆😅😋

Ilheus da Ribeira da Janela 😍 Such a majestic part of the island where the icey blue waters and white waves wash up over the black pebble beach...and with the rock formations right here, it's just incredible 🤩💕

⛰ Eira do Serrado Viewpoint 🤩 You can drive right up to the top (on some questionable roads 😂) and just walk along the path at the top for the most amazing panoramic views of the valley and mountains 😍

🏡🌺 How cute are these traditional Santana houses in !?!?! 😍

Literally feels like a fairytale when walking through them! 💫

They are located in the North of Madeira in Santana and are small triangular houses that represent a part of the heritage on this small island 🏝 The roof is made with the stem of the wheat plant. 🌱

Nowadays, many of them are open as Artisan shops selling local produce and craft products 😍💕

🌴🌎 For us, this is a statement view of the Algarve 😅

So even if you can't find a spot to lay your towel on busy days, you can still admire these kinda views. 😍☀

There's a restaurant at the top as well where you can grab lunch/coffee and enjoy the views from there! 💕

This is one of our favourite beaches in the Algarve - Praia do Camilo!

You walk down these stairs to reach lots of mini beaches that are separated by cool rock formations which you either walk around/climb over or go through little tunnels to reach them!

We visited in the early afternoon on a weekend it was pretty busy. People were towel-to-towel so we couldn't even find a spot to squeeze in 😅

But it was still lovely to walk down the coast and paddle in the water 😍💕

From Lisbon, we road tripped to the ! We took the scenic non-toll route and it took about 3.5 hours 😅 The toll route is much shorter at approx. 2hrs 15 mins!

The roads on the non-toll route where a bit more narrow as you're not the main highway so maybe not the best option if you're in a big rental car/not used to driving on the other side of the road!

But it's such as good road trip & we'd definitely recommend as a fun way to reach the Algarve! Have you done this road trip before? 😆

So in the Neighbourhoods you can grab 2 x cocktails for just 6 euros...whereas in the city centre we were paying 10 euros for 1 cocktail 😅😂 Here's our awesome Mojito's which we enjoyed in the sunshine in Barrio Alto district 😆💕

In Lisbon, one of the main things to do is visit the different Neighbourhoods! There are three main ones that we explored and couldn't recommend them enough -

1) A Baixa District
2) Barrio Alto
3) Chiado

We stayed right in the centre at Legendary Lisboa Suites where everything is hyper modern. But once you start to delve into the different neighbourhoods you actually get a really good feel for what it would be like to live in Lisbon! 🤗
