Model Call - Merthyr Tydfil
We need couples, groups of 3 and small families with adults in the 25-45 range and children 5-10 for upcoming projects in and around Merthyr Tydfil. Shoots vary from indoor and outdoor locations and you would need to be able to drive to meet us at a given location in the borough (but nothing more than 5 miles) and be available during the day or early afternoon.
Usual half day and full day model rates will apply. Roles include walking, hiking, visiting attractions and some restaurants.
Have You Done This Before?
We would prefer those who have had experience working on camera before but are flexible to work with beginners. The reason is that there is often some waiting around setting up scenes and repetition which some people may not prefer to be part of.
How It Works
If you fit our clients brief we will get in touch to see if you are interested and have availability, then we will arrange a location and time that we would meet you at (you will need your own transport in most cases)
We would provide you with information on what to wear what you will be doing. You will be signing a model release with Blackbox Media and the appropriate client we are working for and you would be paid. Some projects may be free but most are paid.. this would be made clear to you so that you can decide if a shoot is for you before you agree to it. Most shoots are 1-2 hours in length
What Happens If I Change My Mind
We would prefer extras who have some experience as your faces, image and sometimes your voice will be used on video or stills which will be used on social media or websites for local or national coverage by our clients for months or years. It takes time and effort to produce the footage so please make sure this is something that you want to do before you put your names forward and take part in filming.
What Do I Do?
Email [email protected] with a photo of you, your group and//or your friends together in an activity such as walking, running, cycling, hiking, etc.. include your ages, names and a contact number and email. Finally let us know roughly where you are located in the Merthyr Tydfil Borough and a guide on each persons mobility.
