A message from Win Amazing founder Brad Jones TJJT

One year ago today, I was rushed to the hospital with only two hours to live and slim chances of pulling through. I lay on the operating table just before being put to sleep, thinking about my son Julius’s upcoming brain surgery. I worried that I wouldn’t be able to kiss him goodbye before his tumour removal. I also thought about my two daughters and wife, knowing I wouldn’t be there to support them either.

Thankfully, the saved my life. Recovering after the coma was challenging, but I was determined to correct what went wrong. I realised that I neglected my own mental and physical health due to the stress and worry leading up to Julius’s surgery.

My mission became to quickly recover and be there in time for Julius’s surgery. During the recovery process, I thought to myself that there must be a reason I’m still here. If I could prevent one parent from making the same mistake I did, it would be a good enough reason.

Now, thanks to the UK public’s support through , my dream of supporting one parent has turned into being able to support thousands.

Thank you all so much. Words cannot describe how grateful I am.

I was told at UK Prime Minister that setting up a national charity The Julius Jones Trust would be challenging, let alone at the same time launching a brand new prize draw in Win Amazing.

Small wins make it all worthwhile. This week, we have our second early bird prize giveaway of £25k. What made it even better was that our winner, Eva, works for the NHS.

This week has given me the strength to carry on. This has been one of the hardest things I have done, and sometimes I question myself why I’m putting myself through it. Then I remember how lost and hopeless I felt when my son Julius was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
