We’re so excited that ‘FROM MAY TO ETTA WITH LOVE’ is now live at The Glamorgan Archives in #Cardiff!
We put together a quick guide to show you how to access the portraits in person and listen to the stories written by our writers @thewelshexotic and @kyle.lima!
Can’t make it to the archives in person? Don’t worry! You can listen to all the audio dramas inspired by the portraits at www.frommaytoetta.co.uk
Such a lovely day today making new records for Glamorgan Archives, a photo shoot and recording session with Cardiff families, which will officially go down in history!
It's all part of 'From May to Etta, with Love', our audio minidrama series inspired by a mysterious photo collection from 1910s Butetown... Today's young people played their historic counterparts in the plays already on our website. Today they got their own photo shoot to appear alongside them in a new photo exhibition we're curating for a spring launch... And we also captured their voices for posterity, so that 100 years hence they won't be forgotten.

Booking is now open for the free online listening party of The Bulletin and Persons Unknown, a double bill of two new audio dramas for The UK National Archives about the Irish War of Independence 1920-21.
Irish playwright Barbara Bergin and Applied Stories ' founder Fin Kennedy spent weeks going through once-classified records from the colonial administration at Dublin Castle. What we found was astonishing!
Directed by the brilliant Anastasia Osei-Kuffour, these two new plays document one of the first propaganda wars, a period which shaped relations between our two islands.
Join us for free online, to listen together followed by a live Q&A, on Thursday 24 November.
