The Red Bull Crisis: Read all about it in the April issue of BusinessF1 in a 36-page report.

The story that has now enveloped the whole Red Bull empire around the world and spread well beyond the Formula One paddock.

Our April issue, contains three articles in which we investigate further, including:

A profile of the lawyer who carried out the ‘independent’ investigation into Christian Horner bringing the story up to date.

An examination of Fleet Street’s finest columnists writing about Christian Horner, since the beginning of the crisis.

Finally this month’s cover story asks whether Chalerm Yoovidhya, the 51 percent shareholder in Red Bull GmbH, is a fit and proper person to control two Formula One teams.

The February 2023 issue of BusinessF1 features Lawrence and Lance Stroll, the father and son duo who have carved their way into Formula One as a team owner and team driver. The article looks at their relationship in detail. Elsewhere we feature Bernie Ecclestone in his eight-part TV documentary series in the first of a three-part series where Ecclestone speaks honestly about his life for the first time. Bob Barnard, creator of the Australian Grand Prix in Adelaide recounts his struggles in 1985 to get the race on the road. We also indulge Crispian Besley with his scorching account of Jean Marie Balestre’s N**i past. In a perceptive Insight article, we look at the antics of John Paul DeJoria and Jonathan Kendrick in the United States with its Rokit brand. The Rokit story is as mysterious as it is inexplicable.

The January 2023 issue of BusinessF1 looks in detail at the sacking of Mattia Binotto from the most prestigious job in motorsport, team principal of Scuderia Ferrari. At the other end of the scale, we explain the ouster of Matt Bishop from Aston Martin Racing by a Spaniard. The demise of the W Series is also examined- was it marketed properly? We conclude it probably wasn’t.
The main feature is a look back at the five years Paul Stoddart spent running his Minardi Formula One team between 2001 and 2005. The article is a detailed explanation of what it’s like to run a Formula One team and the daily problems that come up including the sponsorship deals and the budget. Lastly, we look in detail at Jean Todt’s disposal of his entire 111 watch collection at Christie’s in November. For $34.4 million.
18 news pages tell the real story of what is happening in Formula One including all the sackings of team principals and their replacements in a way that only BusinessF1 does.

The December issue of BusinessF1 is a very special one, looking at the life and times of Dietrich Mateschitz, the founder of the Red Bull energy drinks company, who died in October. The November issue of BusinessF1 highlights the problems faced by President Ben Sulayem after the FIA released its Cost Cap findings. The report was leaked in advance by Toto Wolff causing a crisis in the Formula One paddock during the Singapore Grand Prix. BusinessF1 reporters go behind the scenes to uncover what really went on and who caused the crisis. It is riveting reading.
We profile Dan Fallows, the new technical director of Aston Martin Racing, and assess his chances of turning the team around. The prognosis is good. We also look back at the career of Willi Weber, who dominated the paddock in the nineties managing Michael and Ralf Schumacher.

The October issue of BusinessF1 contains the full story of Oscar Piastri’s switch from Alpine to McLaren. It’s a story that frankly is not believable, but nevertheless it happened and the repercussions are still being felt two months later. We also examine a similar situation 20 years ago when Jenson Button attempted to move to BMW Williams whilst still under contract to BAR-Honda. The Piastri CRB Tribunal is covered separately in full detail. A delightfully funny article chronicles the destruction of the career of Daniel Ricciardo and his former manager Glen Beavis and explains their nicknames in the paddock, Beavis and Butthead. We examine the influence of the Dunning-Kruger syndrome in the Formula One paddock – it explains a lot.
We go back to the Nürburgring to examine the upcoming battle between Vanwall and Aston Martin for the title of the fastest road car ever round the ring. Lastly it is Part 3 of the Last Love Story, the continuing story of the last days of Ayrton Senna and the girl he intended to marry if he had lived - Adriane Galisteu.

The June issue goes back in time to examine the extraordinary bad feelings that existed between Max Mosley and Ron Dennis. The story has taken a new relevance with the allegations of IP theft from Red Bull Racing, the same allegations that brought Ron Dennis down in 2007, from which he never recovered.

Elsewhere there is an investigation of the last 24 hours of Graham Hill’s life in November 1975. The story tells, in devastating detail, what really happened that night when Hill mistook the English towns of Barnet and Borehamwood and tried to land his plane on Arkley Golf Course, with such tragic consequences.

It’s not the news that people want you to know, but the news that people don’t want you to know.

The February issue of BusinessF1 Magazine, out now!

This February is a real treat for readers who really want to know what goes on inside a Formula One team when things get rough.

The cover story features the last 10 years of the Williams F1 team under the control of Sir Frank Williams. It is not particularly pretty reading and principally involves Toto Wolff and Claire Williams who have been part of the F1 scene for less than 12 years. The machinations of Toto Wolff made Sir Frank Williams and Sir Patrick Head very rich men, but they also sowed the seeds of destruction for the team 10 years later when the family lost control of their own creation.
We also give insight to the dispute between the Williams team and its former title sponsor called Rokit.
Additionally, we explore the truth about Jean Alesi’s recent arrest in France after an attack on an architect’s office in Avignon.
Finally we feature an obituary to Kevin Kalkhoven and remember the late-great Philippe Gurdjian plus a detailed look at last day of Gilles Villeneuve.

The January issues of BusinessF1 Magazine, out now!

The January issue profiles the new president of the Federation Internationale De L’Automobile, Mohammed ben Sulayem. The election of Ben Sulayem is the biggest thing to happen to F1 in three decades. It is an absolute revolution and will change the sport forever.
We also publish our annual Formula One Power List which has changed dramatically since the last list was published in 2007. Of the 2022 top 50, 26 were not even involved in Formula One in any capacity in 2007 and only nine from the 2007 list remain members.
As regular readers might expect we delve deeply into the shenanigans surrounding the 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and tell how the race director, Michael Masi left his employer, the FIA with another almighty mess after he flouted all the rules in the final few laps of the race. The race had a winner and the winner was the world champion, but there was no undoing the mess. It is an even bigger mess than Masi left in Belgium.
We pay tribute to the great Sir Frank Williams, through the eyes of his wife Ginny. Dear Frank, Love Ginny is the story of the first four years of a love affair that turned into an enduring marriage until Ginny died in 2013.
Elsewhere there is a fascinating story of a racing driver’s wife named Suzy Miller plus the regular news, insight and columnists.
